This issue presents a comprehensive discourse regarding the shift in government governance paradigms in response to the complexity of contemporary political dynamics. The study in it is focused on critical analysis of the effectiveness of government policy strategies and election implementation, as well as how these two entities interact with the space for public participation and community empowerment. In particular, this issue also expands the dimension of government science by integrating the study of spatial planning for disaster mitigation. Through a review of various articles in it, this edition aims to provide a theoretical basis and practical recommendations regarding the construction of a holistic government system.
