Survey of the Impact of the Family Hope Program on Improving Family Welfare in Layana Indah Village, Mantikulore District, Palu City

This study aims to determine the influence of the Family Hope Program (PKH) on family welfare in Layana Indah Village, Palu City. Through a quantitative approach with an explanatory research type, this study examines the relationship between the Family Hope Program variable as the independent variable and family welfare as the dependent variable. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 186 respondents who were Beneficiary Families (KPM), supported by observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used included validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, and simple linear regression analysis.The results of the study indicate that the Family Hope Program has a significant effect on family welfare, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and the t-test result showing t_(calculated) > t_(table) (54.329 > 1.973), therefore H₁ is accepted and H₀ is rejected. The regression equation obtained is Y = 26.357 + 0.593X, which indicates that every one-unit increase in the PKH variable will increase family welfare by 0.593 units.Based on the descriptive analysis results, the social assistance dimension has the highest average score in the PKH variable, indicating that the aid distribution aspect is considered the best by respondents. Meanwhile, in the family welfare variable, the health dimension obtained the highest average score, indicating an increase in awareness and access to health services. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.941 shows that PKH contributes 94.1% to family welfare, while the remaining 5.9% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study.
