This study aims to analyze the transformational leadership of the village head in the administration of village governance. Transformational leadership is a leadership style that inspires, motivates, and encourages positive change within an organization. In the context of village governance, the village head plays a strategic role in mobilizing village officials and the community to achieve effective and sustainable village development goals. This study employed a qualitative research approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants consisted of the village head, village officials, community leaders, and local residents. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the transformational leadership Bass & Avolio, (1994) of the village head is reflected in four main dimensions: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. The village head serves as a role model, provides motivation to village officials, encourages innovation in village governance, and pays attention to the individual needs of both government officials and community members. However, the implementation of transformational leadership still faces several challenges, including limited human resources, suboptimal community participation, and a lack of innovation in village governance practices.
