Management of Mangrove Forest Tourism in Ogomolos Village, Mepanga District, Parigi Moutong Regency

This study aims to determine the governance of mangrove forest tourism in Ogomolos Village. The study uses the Destination Management Organization (DMO) theory by Angelo Presenza (2005), which includes Coordination of Tourism Stakeholders, Destination Crisis Management, and Destination Marketing. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results of the study indicate that the governance of mangrove forest tourism in Ogomolos Village is not optimal. This is characterized by unsustainable stakeholder coordination, the absence of adequate risk mitigation planning, limited infrastructure and human resource capacity, and conventional marketing so that the tourist destination is not widely known. In conclusion, the governance of mangrove forest tourism in Ogomolos Village is not optimal due to weak crisis management, ineffective destination marketing, and coordination between stakeholders that is not fully integrated.
