Introduction:
The implementation of permanent housing faces challenges in land management, stakeholder coordination, and limited community participation. Therefore, this study examines how the city government collaborates in providing permanent housing in Talise Valangguni. This research refers to the collaboration theory by Emerson, Nabatchi, and Balogh (2012), which includes dynamics, actions, impacts, and adaptation.
Methods:
This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews with stakeholders such as local government, BPN, BPBD, PUPR, and affected communities, as well as policy document analysis.
Results:
The findings indicate that collaboration in providing permanent housing in Talise Valangguni accelerates decision-making and resource optimization. Cross-sector discussions and coordination promote community involvement, strengthen communication, and ensure program sustainability for more effective post-disaster recovery.
Conclusion:
The success of permanent housing programs after disasters relies on coordination, transparency, and community participation to enhance effectiveness and sustainability.
