Quality of Rice Distribution Services for the Poor in Abbajareng Village, South Dampal District, Tolitoli Regency

This study aims to determine the quality of services for distributing rice assistance to the poor in Abbajareng Village, South Dampal District, Toli-Toli Regency. The basis of the research used is qualitative and the type of research is descriptive. This data collection technique is used in observation, interview and documentation research. The aspects used in the study consist of 5 indicators proposed by Parasuraman, Zeithaml and Berry (Parasuraman et. al 1990:49) which are used to measure service quality, where the five indicators are Tangibles (Physical evidence), Reliability (Reliability), Responsiveness (Responsiveness), Assurance (Confidence), Empathy (Empathy). Based on the research results obtained, it can be concluded that the Quality of Service for the Distribution of Poor Rice Assistance in Abbajareng Village, South Dampal District, Toli-Toli Regency has not been running well, seen from the 5 indicators used, namely Tangibles (Physical Evidence), Reliability (Reliability), Responsiveness (Responsiveness), Assurance (Guarantee), Empathy (Empathy). In terms of Reliability, the distribution of Raskin rice is often late and this triggers complaints from the community, in terms of Responsiveness in providing services it has not been fast and precise in serving the community and in terms of Empathy or the attitude of justice given by the officers in charge of distributing Raskin rice have not been completely fair in providing Raskin rice to the community
