Dua metode penentuan informan digunakan: purposive sampling, yang memilih informan yang dianggap mampu memberikan data yang diinginkan, dan purposive aktif, yang memperbolehkan partisipasi bebas dari masyarakat. Penentuan informan dilakukan berdasarkan kebutuhan tim ekspedisi. Metode pertama melibatkan Kepala Desa, Tokoh Adat, dan Tokoh-tokoh masyarakat yang memiliki pengetahuan kunci terhadap kawasan mereka. Metode kedua melibatkan partisipasi bebas dari masyarakat untuk memahami situasi saat ini. Data wawancara dan pengamatan oleh tim ekspedisi dipadukan untuk memastikan keakuratan informasi. Proses triangulasi data memungkinkan interaksi langsung antara tim ekspedisi dan informan, memberikan gambaran yang mendalam tentang masyarakat dan megalitik di Ngamba Behoa. This research aims to provide a general understanding of the socio-cultural situation of the Dayak Benuaq pertaining to <em>Beliatn Sentiu</em> to minimize and mitigate conflicts within the Dayak Benuaq society. Using a qualitative and descriptive approach in describing the situations pertaining to <em>beliatn sentiu, </em>observation, literature review, and interviews are used to answer the relevance of <em>beliatn sentiu</em> in the Dayak Benuaq community, how <em>beliatn sentiu</em> harmonized with it’s social surrounding, and to describe the procedures of <em>beliatn sentiu</em>. <em>Beliatn sentiu</em> is still very much relevant in the life of the Dayak Benuaq community due to the religious belief of the Dayak Benuaq, the individual push to be healed from ailments by any way necessary, and the lack of access to healthcare facilities in certain areas. <em>Beliatn sentiu</em> isn’t only a ritual that is run by many generations, but it also have an intrisict value which form a community together like social, cultural, economic, and artistic value. Mo Laluta, as an integral part of oral culture, serves not only as a means of communication but also as a platform for conveying philosophical, historical, and moral messages from one generation to the next. Through the ethnographic semiotic approach, the analysis of symbolism in these myths demonstrates the complexity of identity construction, social structure, and understanding of social reality in the Bada Valley community. Mo Laluta is not merely a storytelling medium but also an expression of efforts to maintain and strengthen social bonds and cultural identity amidst globalization. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method to understand the organizational structure of HBI, identify the ethnicities represented in Hasan M. Bahasyuan's works, and explore the role of kinship within HBI. Data were collected through written and unwritten interview techniques as well as documentation. HBI has structures, regulations, and programs in place to protect and preserve the works of Hasan M. Bahasyuan as well as the cultures they represent. HBI also provides facilities for individuals interested in artistic activities. This research aims to introduce and preserve the works of Hasan M. Bahasyuan, as well as introduce the cultures and traditions depicted in these works to a new generation. Ethical considerations and permission from the rightful heirs, who are the official copyright holders or legal representatives appointed by HBI, are required for the use of Hasan M. In this research I chose informants using purposive sampling technique by deliberately determining 4 informants who were considered capable of answering the problems of the proposed title and the background of the informants were former Paboya gold miners. The method used is qualitative research where I will make observations and conduct in-depth interviews with the informants who have been determined, after which I will analyze the data found by editing the data, categorizing the data, interpreting the data, and will formulate conclusions and suggestions.
